Mission Statement
The devotional book at the heart of Face the Son began as a simple school project—but God had much bigger plans. During my junior year of high school, I was given the opportunity to design my own art class. After talking with my mom, the idea came to life: I would write and illustrate a devotional book based on the Psalms. What started as a creative assignment quickly turned into a personal journey of healing, hope, and rediscovered purpose.
At the time, I was walking through a long season of depression and struggling to understand God’s plan for my life. As I studied the Psalms and began writing each daily devotional, I found myself being reminded of who God is—His love, His strength, and His constant presence. The writing process became a space where God met me, healed me, and showed me that even in brokenness, beauty can bloom.
The book is designed to walk young women through five stages of spiritual growth: Seedling, Roots, Weeds, Bloom, and Harvest. Each section includes Scripture-based devotions, questions to reflect on, and my own original illustrations. The layout helps readers connect deeply with God’s Word and apply it to their everyday lives, especially during the ups and downs of teenage and young adult years.
Illustrating the book also rekindled a long-lost passion for art—especially digital design—and helped me realize that creativity can be a form of worship. It was in this process that Face the Son was truly born. I saw how much this book could speak to other girls who may feel unseen, unsure, or stuck in their faith, and I knew I wanted to do more.
My heart is for young women. I want every girl who interacts with Face the Son to leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and empowered in her faith.
In a world full of noise and pressure, my mission is to amplify God’s voice—through devotions, prayer tools, and messages that speak truth, hope, and identity. I’m passionate about creating a space where faith can flourish, community can grow, and girls are reminded that Jesus is worth standing firm for—in every season, every struggle, and every calling.
That passion is what led me to pursue a degree in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries with a focus on Women’s Leadership and a minor in Business at Liberty University. I’m learning how to lead with wisdom, disciple with love, and build a ministry that’s both spiritually impactful and sustainably run. My goal is to use everything I’m learning to grow Face the Son into a thriving organization that equips young women to boldly live out their faith in everyday life—and empowers them to shine for Christ wherever they’re planted.
The name Face the Son was inspired by sunflowers—how they always turn to face the sun. That’s what I want this brand to encourage: women who chase the light, stay rooted in truth, and reflect God’s love.
Our products—devotionals, prayer journals, apparel, and digital content—are designed with a rustic, joyful, and faith-filled aesthetic. Each piece is created with purpose: to plant seeds of hope, grow strong roots, and bloom in Christ.
